Memi visited her mother after a long time on the anniversary of her father's death. She was horrified to discover that they had not kept any old photos of her father after the move. And Memi realised with even greater despair that she could not remember the face of her beloved parent. Is it possible to recall a person's facial features through memories? Is it possible to put the image together like a jigsaw puzzle, in small pieces through small stories that are vividly imprinted in the memory? Is life after death preserved in the memory of others?
