"Horatio’s Life" thrusts players into an extraordinary journey that transcends reality, following the unexpected encounter of Akio, a young university student, with a visually stunning visual novel game. By a twist of fate at a game convention, Akio inadvertently purchases "Horatio’s Life" instead of the fighting game recommended by his friend Daniel. What begins as a simple mistake transforms into a gripping adventure as Akio delves into the depths of the game's narrative.
As Akio navigates the game's prompts, he unlocks hidden truths about his past and his mother's enigmatic legacy. A chance discovery of a hidden achievement, ominously titled "THE LOSER," sets in motion a series of events that intertwine Akio's fate with that of Renna, the daughter of Rolando, the game's creator. Together, they embark on a quest to save Rolando from a mysterious illness, guided by cryptic clues and the echoes of Akio's mother's wisdom.
