I, Wolfe is a linear furry visual novel that mixes drama, romance, and a healthy touch of humor. Don the tail of mudpuppy and medical professional Charlie Karts as he and his peers hunt for a cure to an enigmatic and deadly disease that has ravaged the avian population of St. Louis, Missouri.
SEVEN YEARS AGO THEY ALL STARTED DYING.
Charlie Karts hadn't even begun his medical residency when the outbreak of Broken Beak swept through St. Louis. Avians of all sorts dropped dead before his eyes. Men. Women. Children. Young and Old. Rich and Poor. The great equalizer came for them by the thousands.
The masses have largely forgotten now. The metros are packed, nights are bright, and businesses are booming. To many, it seems, the disease is nothing but a bad memory.
BUT NOT EVERYONE FORGETS SO EASILY.
Anxious, the bureaucrats in D.C. broker the creation of the Parasol Research Project: a consortium of leading pharmaceutical companies tasked with developing a successful treatment before the next outbreak shakes the nation.
As a researcher on the project, Charlie mans the frontlines in searching for this breakthrough while navigating corporate interests, corrupt politicking, and the snarky pedipalps of a hotshot professor from New York.
