Hugette follows a person who has lost his identity, left with fragmented memories and illusions about himself and his past, along with loneliness, fears, and nightmares. A mysterious group calling themselves the Resistance enters his life, shifting a serious story toward comedy and a dating sim as problems, drama, and unanswered questions pile up. The tension keeps rising, and the player is asked whether a sense of reality can be kept.
