11:42 PM, St. Jude's College, Department of Palaeography. An after-hours alarm sounds from the sealed Blackwood Archive. The protagonist has faculty keys; inside is Elena, a twenty-two year old research assistant halfway through photographing a ledger that is not supposed to exist. She did not break in — the timed lock came down while she was copying the page that carries her own family name.
The first hour's choices open one of three routes — Interrogation, Fall or Pact — which diverge after the confrontation and each reach their own ending. Five chapters, three endings, six event CGs.
