Once upon a time, there was a newb trying to make a Visual novel for a game jam with their team. It was supposed to be "the best VN evaaar!" according to Team leader. But shit hits the fan. Artist got hit by truck. Writer was too busy irl. Friends clashed and quit. And thus project failed. Oh, and said newb dies.
Once upon another time and pixelated space, there was a butler working for a bickering vampire and his human wife, that was bored out of his mind. But now there's an annoying ghost following him around, telling him he's just a character in an unfinished VN and all day trying to make him "reach the true ending" and "finish drawing all missing assets." And now there's a vampire hunter in town too?
